Starting from scratch is a theme that has followed me throughout my career. In every role, I was entrusted with the responsibility of creating something new, laying strong foundations. But this time, the assignment wasn’t for someone else—it was for us. After months of late-night discussions, deliberations, and planning, my husband Sandip, my best friend Valerie, and I, decided to take the leap and establish our firm, headquartered in Kolkata and Delhi.

Meliora—a Latin word meaning “better things”—reflects the very essence of who we are and what we stand for. The name embodies our commitment to constant improvement, purposeful action, and delivering outcomes that elevate our clients’ journey.
